STORY

Shoshiwa Mabina currently leads the development and deployment of civil infrastructure/transportation contracts, ensuring business objectives are met, including legal, financial, and risk service for commodity/construction/professional services needs. With knowledge of statutes and regulations, Shoshiwa connects a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders and teams across industry organizations, such as A/E/C, elected/governmental officials, assist agencies, churches, civic organizations and community leaders.

Shoshiwa yields as a carpenter, compliance officer, bid proposal writer, and project manager on local construction projects. Shoshiwa was appointed to the Illinois State Freight Advisory Council, Illinois Workforce Innovation Board’s Apprenticeship Committee, Illinois State Highway Toll Authority ECP Advisory Committee, CTA Red Line Restoration Advisory Committee, and Illinois State Apprenticeship Steering Committee to implement and execute strategies to transition adult, youth, dislocated and incumbent workers into the high-demand construction industry.
